Gravity Sand and Centrifugal Casting

Based on customer requirements RRL produces high grade ferrous and non-ferrous casting using sand and centrifugal processes.

Ferrous range: Manganese Steel, Alloy Steel, Heat Resistant Steel, Stainless Steel, Ductile Iron, Alloy Cast Iron, Ni Hard and Special Alloy steels.

Non-Ferrous range: Aluminium based Alloys, Aluminium Bronze, Cobalt based alloys, Stellites etc.

Production Range

RRL can produce Horizontal Centrifugal Castings of outside diameters ranging from 100 mm to 800 mm and a maximum length of 2500 mm. Single pieces can be cast up to 2.5 MT. Current annual production capacity is 3000 MT and a. RRL castings find popular application in Mining, Aluminium Industry, Steel Plants, Power Plants, Railways, Boiler Manufacturers and other industries.

Investment Castings

RRL manufactures components that are close to the final shape and feature excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy in microns. The Company can handle any complex shape using newly developed alloys and can process fine details like serrations, splines, holes and slits, letters and logos. This eliminates / minimizes costly and cumbersome machining operations and wastage as scrap at the customers end.

Typical compositions: Ferrous & Non-ferrous Metals and Alloys, Nickel & Cobalt based Super Alloys, Aluminium and its Alloys, Low Alloys Steels.

RRL also manufactures: Carbon Steel, High Alloy Steels, SG Iron & Alloy Cast Iron, Stellities. Present annual production capacity is 240 MT. Single piece castings can range from a few grams to 35 kg.
